Eligibility and Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following general terms and conditions for contract appointment:
- Appointments are purely on a contract basis as per Contract Policy 2006 of GoAJ&K for an initial period of 03 years, which may be extended.
- All vacancies will be filled purely on merit, with preference given to AJK nationals.
- Monthly salary is subject to tax deduction at source as per rules.
- Age limit will be as per Government/PM&DC policy.
- For matters not specified in the contract policy 2006, the rules and regulations of GoAJ&K and PM&DC shall apply.
- Only short-listed candidates will be called for interviews, and no TA/DA will be admissible.
Specific terms for applicants from the Department of Health GoAJ&K:
- Applicants already working in teaching hospitals of Medical College Muzaffarabad must process their applications through the proper channel, along with all required documents.
- Candidates from the Department of Health will continue to draw their salary from their parent departments.
- Teaching allowance will be paid as per Government policy and availability of post & funds.
