Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must meet the specific educational and experience requirements for each post as detailed below. All degrees and qualifications must be from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

General Terms and Conditions

The positions are offered on a contract basis for three years, renewable under the Contract Appointment Policy 2004 of the Government of the Punjab.
General age relaxation is applicable as per the prevailing policies of the Government of the Punjab.
The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel the number of posts advertised at any stage.
Only male candidates can apply for the posts of Forensic Scientist (Crime & Death Scene Investigation) (Sr# 12) and Junior Forensic Scientist (Crime & Death Scene Investigation) (Sr# 16).
Special course work (four credit hours each) in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Population Statistics from an HEC recognized university is mandatory for the post of Forensic Scientist (DNA & Serology) (Sr# 10).
All posts are full-time and require continuous engagement and observance of regular working hours.

Salary Structure

Monthly salaries for the above-mentioned posts will be as under:

5.	Forensic Scientist (other than Pathology & Histology)	325,000/- p.m. + 10% annual increase
6.	Junior Forensic Scientist	200,000/- p.m. + 10% annual increase (During training half salary will be paid)
