Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following educational and age criteria to be eligible for these Secondary School Teacher positions:

• Education: A 4-year BS degree or a Master’s degree in the relevant subject from an HEC-recognized university. For Mathematics, a 4-year BS in Mathematics or Statistics, or a BE degree, or a Master’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics is required.
• Age Limit: The upper age limit for applicants is 55 years.
• Domicile: Applicants must hold a local domicile of District Kachi.
• Merit Criteria: A minimum of 50% marks in the basic eligibility qualification is required. The merit calculation includes marks for Matriculation (20), Intermediate (20), Bachelor’s/Master’s in relevant subject (50), M.Phil/MS (5 additional), and PhD (10 additional).

Important Notes on Eligibility:

• In case of non-availability of candidates with BS/MSc in Mathematics, candidates with BS/MSc in Physics will be considered, and vice versa, with preference given to the relevant subject.
• Similarly, if BS/MSc Chemistry candidates are unavailable, BS/MSc Biology candidates will be considered, and vice versa, with preference given to the relevant subject.
• Married female candidates may apply based on their husband’s local domicile. Applications based on the father’s domicile will not be accepted. If the husband’s name is not on the domicile, a NADRA marriage certificate and the husband’s CNIC are required.
• Candidates with physical disabilities will be considered if their disability does not affect their teaching ability.
• Degrees from HEC-unrecognized institutions will lead to disqualification.
