Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Manager Financial Reporting & Taxation will be responsible for a range of critical financial and taxation duties, including:

• Leading the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Overseeing consolidation and reporting for the entire hotel portfolio, encompassing management and board reporting.
• Managing tax compliance, which includes income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax returns, and coordinating effectively with tax authorities and advisors.
• Supporting external audits and ensuring the timely closure of any audit observations.
• Reviewing and strengthening internal controls and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Guiding and mentoring the financial reporting and taxation team, fostering their professional development.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates interested in the Senior Manager Financial Reporting & Taxation position must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Must be a Member of ICAP, ICMAP, or ACCA.
• Experience: Possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and taxation. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a multi-unit or hospitality organization.
• Knowledge: Demonstrate strong working knowledge of IFRS and Pakistan tax laws.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
