About Assistant Professor of Bio Statistics
Institute of Public Health is hiring for the post of Assistant Professor of Bio Statistics (1 post) in Lahore.
The Assistant Professor of Bio Statistics will be responsible for teaching and practical training in Biostatistics at the Institute of Public Health Lahore, on a contract basis.
Requirements for Assistant Professor of Bio Statistics
Applicants for Assistant Professor of Bio Statistics must meet one of the following sets of criteria:
- Option 1:
- Education: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PM&DC, OR M.A or M.Sc (Statistics or Biostatistics).
- Postgraduate Qualification (in order of preference): D.Sc or Ph.D or M.Phil or M.S/M.Sc (two years duration) or other equivalent qualification recognized by the Council.
- Experience: Three years teaching experience in the specialty in a recognized institution as Demonstrator or equivalent position recognized by the Council, OR five years practical experience in the field of Biostatistics.
- Option 2 (if no suitable candidate with Option 1 is available):
- Education: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the Council, OR M.A or M.Sc (Statistics or Biostatistics).
- Postgraduate Qualification: D.P.H or M.P.H or M.A/M.Sc (Statistics or Bio-statistics) (one year duration) or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Council.
- Experience: Three years teaching experience in the specialty in a recognized institution as Demonstrator or equivalent position recognized by the Council, OR five years practical experience in the field of Biostatistics.
