Manager (Cyber Security)

The Manager (Cyber Security) will be responsible for supporting the protection of the organization's enterprise IT systems and networks. This involves security engineering, continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, technical assessment, and the ongoing improvement of security controls.

This position is temporary but is likely to be continued for an indefinite period, with appointment on Contributory Pension Fund (CPF) or Provident Fund (PF) basis.

Applicants for Manager (Cyber Security) must possess a strong academic background and substantial experience in the field, along with specific certifications.

• Education:
  • Essentials: BE/BS (1st Division) or equivalent from an HEC recognized reputable University.
  • Desirable: MS/MSc (1st Division) or equivalent from an HEC recognized reputable University.
  • Disciplines: Information Security, Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering.
• Experience:
  • 6-7 years of overall post-qualification experience for bachelor's degree holders.
  • 4 years of overall post-qualification experience for master's degree holders.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience specifically in cyber security.
• Core Certifications (at least one of): Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Offsec Certified Professional (OSCP), Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC), Penetration Tester (GPEN), GIAC Certified Information Handler (GCIH).
• Desirable Certifications: Relevant networking, satellite communications, RF, or vendor-specific security certifications.
• General Conditions: Only one 2nd division allowed in entire educational career; final degree must be 3.0 CGPA. No 3rd division allowed. Engineers must have PEC registration.
